Inspire and rejuvenate your soul at some of the most magnificent beaches the world has to offer. From crashing waves to calm crystal clear waters, there’s a beach for everyone (and you don’t even have to like swimming!). You could very well head on over to the nearest beach, but we’ll like to suggest something a little more exotic and fun for your next trip. Since there’s so many drool-worthy locations worldwide, we’ve narrowed it down to our favorite picks:
There’s plenty of beautiful beaches in Jamaica, but there’s just something different about this six-mile-long one. It could be the quaint fishing villages located along the coast, the amazing swimming and snorkeling opportunities, and even the sight of local writers and artists strolling and lounging around in search of inspiration. Whichever it is, it’s truly a remarkable place to spend your time at.
Although it’s only accessible by boat, this Greek gem on Zakynthos Island is worth the trip. Upon arrival, you’ll spot a rusted hull sticking out of the beach, and it’s actually from a freighter which ran aground in 1980. In fact, this beach is also famously known as Shipwreck Beach (no prizes as to why), and it’s still a popular tourist spot even till today, especially during the holidays.
Bet you never thought to go to Kenya to enjoy its beaches, and we must say that you’re missing out. Diani Beach is a pure beauty of white sand, surf-worthy waves, and lush forests. It’s a popular spot since way back and its resort town is a magnet for a diverse group of tourists ranging from families and party-goers to honeymooners and water-sports enthusiasts.
It’s only one of the many stunning beaches in India, and it’s definitely immensely popular all year round. Here, you’ll find powdery sugar sand, clear blue waters and lush forests, and that’s only the tip of the iceberg. Sunsets are a really popular time for crowds, so you might need to walk in a little further from the starting point for more privacy. Otherwise, early morning visits and weekdays are also another solution to beating the crowds.
Australia is well-known for their surf-worthy beaches, but that’s not all there is love about Whitehaven Beach in Queensland. Here, you can enjoy 4-miles of eco-friendly beach, and it’s a beautiful dazzling white (due to its white silica content). Fortunately, it’s a little more remote, and this makes it an absolutely amazing place for plenty of “me” time.
